Who we are
P3 STUDIO LTD is a design-and-build studio working in Leeds and the surrounding area. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 17376754, and registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under ZC241083.
You can reach us at enquiries@p3studio.co.uk or on 0113 873 1533.
What we collect
When you send us an enquiry, we receive your name, email address, phone number and postcode. We also receive the answers you give about the space and how you would like it to feel, anything you write in your own words, and any photographs you choose to attach.
The form shows which details are required. We use your name and contact details to handle your enquiry, and your postcode to check whether we work in your area. Photographs and the question about how you heard about us are optional. You are welcome to call us instead.
- How you heard about us (optional)Why: To understand which channels bring enquiriesLawful basis: Legitimate interestsHow long: With your enquiry: reviewed 12 months after our last contact, or kept with the project file if you go ahead
- When you would like the work doneWhy: To plan a reply and a visitLawful basis: Steps you ask us to take before a contractHow long: As above
- Your choice about marketing emails (the box)Why: To respect your choiceLawful basis: Legal obligation (PECR) and legitimate interestsHow long: As long as we hold your enquiry; an opt-out is kept as a short "do not email" note so we never email you again
- Marketing emails about similar P3 services (only if the box was left unticked)Why: To tell you about similar P3 servicesLawful basis: Legitimate interests, with the soft opt-in under PECRHow long: Until you opt out, or until your enquiry is deleted at the 12-month review
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
When you approach us about a possible project, we use what you send to read your enquiry, reply to it, and take the steps you have asked us to take before any contract is entered into. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. That holds whether or not the project goes ahead.
If it does go ahead, we use what is needed to carry out that contract.
Separately, we keep a short-lived record of recent submissions to stop the enquiry form being flooded or misused. Our lawful basis for that is our legitimate interest in keeping the form working.
If your enquiry is about buying our services and you leave the box unticked, we may email you about similar P3 services. Every marketing email includes a simple way to opt out, and you can ask us to stop at any time. We do not sell your information or share it for anyone else's purposes. We do not profile you, and a person reads your enquiry.
How long we keep it
If your enquiry does not become a project, we keep it for twelve months from our last contact with you and then delete it, photographs included.
If it does become a project, the project record is kept for six years after the work finishes. That is the period during which a claim could still be brought and during which we are required to keep business records.
You can ask us to delete something sooner. The right to deletion is not absolute, so if there is a lawful reason we have to keep something we will tell you what it is.
Who handles it
Three services are involved in an enquiry reaching us:
- Cloudflare: hosts the site, stores the enquiry and any photographs, and counts visits to the site (Cloudflare Web Analytics).
- Resend: delivers the confirmation email to you and the notification to us.
- Google Workspace: provides the mailbox those emails arrive in.
Each handles the information only to provide that service to us. We use no advertising network and nothing that tracks you across other sites; the one visit count we use is explained under Cookies and browser storage.
One more service may be involved later, if we prepare design ideas for you:
- OpenAI (ChatGPT): creating design visuals for proposals.
Design visuals. To help us show you design ideas, we may share photos of your room and our visit notes with OpenAI (ChatGPT), using your reference number only. We remove location data and never send your name or address. OpenAI works for us under a data processing agreement, does not use your photos to train its models, and may process them outside the UK with the safeguards UK law requires.
One further thing happens on every page, whether or not you ever send us an enquiry. The site is set in typefaces served by Google Fonts, so your browser requests them from Google each time you open a page here, and Google receives your device's network address as part of that request. Nothing about it reaches us.
Where it is handled
Our providers may process information outside the United Kingdom.
Resend delivers our email from Ireland. Transfers to Ireland and the rest of the European Economic Area are covered by UK adequacy regulations, which treat them as offering equivalent protection.
Cloudflare and Google operate internationally and may process information outside the UK and the EEA, including in the United States. Where they do, they rely on the transfer safeguards the law requires: the UK's International Data Transfer Agreement, or the UK Addendum to the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, and where it applies the UK–US data bridge.
If you would like to see the detail for any of them, email us and we will point you to it.
Cookies and browser storage
This site sets no cookies. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are used, so we can improve the site. It sets no cookies, does not build a profile of you and does not follow you to other sites. You can turn it off for this browser with the link below. We use no advertising networks, tracking pixels, tag managers or heatmaps.
We store your visit-counting choice in this browser so the site remembers it. We use that storage only for this choice.
If you begin an enquiry and do not finish it, your browser keeps your answers so the form survives a reload in the same tab. They stay on your device and reach us only when you press send.
That storage is cleared when you close the tab, and this is deliberate: a phone that is shared or borrowed should not show your answers to whoever picks it up next.
Keeping the form from being abused
To stop the enquiry form being flooded, we count recent submissions against a SHA-256 hash of the network address they came from. The address itself is not stored. The count is discarded after an hour, and it never forms part of your enquiry or reaches the people reading it.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or ask us to restrict how we use it. Where the right applies, you can ask us to give you the information you provided in a machine-readable format. You can also object to anything we do on the basis of legitimate interests.
To use any of these rights, email enquiries@p3studio.co.uk. We will respond without undue delay and normally within a month. The law allows longer in some cases, and if that applies we will tell you.
If you want to complain about how we have handled your information, email us at the same address. We will acknowledge it within 30 days and deal with it without undue delay.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. You can come to us first, but you do not have to.
Changes
If we change how we collect or use personal information, we will update this page and the date on it.

Disclaimer
What is on this site
Photographs, visuals and descriptions here are illustrative. They do not by themselves set the specification for a particular project, and the site is not an offer to enter into a contract.
Design visuals
Visuals we produce during a design stage are indicative. They communicate intent (proportion, material, light, the feel of a room) rather than guaranteeing that every visible detail will appear exactly so in the finished work.
Site conditions and natural variation in materials affect the result. An image does not replace the specification for anything that has to be exact.
Timescales and guidance
Anything here about how long something takes, or how a project usually runs, is a general description. Every project differs, and its own timings are agreed with you.
Our guarantee
Every project carries a workmanship guarantee: 12 months as standard, longer on bespoke work. The term for your project is set out in your proposal. This guarantee is in addition to your legal rights.
